I wonder how many Fab ice lollies and Mr Whippy ice creams are devoured during the month of August...
Here at Love From Hetty & Dave HQ, we've held two delightful workshops, teaching you lovely lot how to make them as dinky little accessories.
This is the first group at the beginning of August, hard at work:
And here's last Friday's group in action:
(That's my fantastic sister, Rachey, smiling at the camera-
she was in charge of the music at the last workshop, but has since been
banned from attending more workshops for being too disruptive!)
Much ginger beer and traditional lemonade was drunk, and entertaining chatter had, and here are some of the finished results, and rather good they were too!
This is Steph, from Bedford, who just happened to be on holiday in Bournemouth that week, with her brooch and keyring creations:
Saskia, from Belgium, wearing her strawberry earrings from July's workshop, and matching her new ice cream accessories with her brilliant ice cream t-shirt!
Kate, who is fast becoming a workshop addict, having just booked in for next months!
Jennifer, Saskia's lovely mama, also over from Belgium, wearing last month's strawberry brooch, along with her ice cream brooches
Beautiful Betsy, who we'll be seeing again at next month's workshop:
and Betsy's adorable friend Roz, who will be joining us too!
And here's Lisa looking rather pleased that she finally finished her ice creams at around 10pm! Yup, we over-ran slightly (by an hour!!).
This is the lovely Phoebe, all the way from Andover, back for her second workshop-and we'll be seeing her again next month for Tea & Biscuits..
Rachey and Emily looking pretty pleased with their creations!
Two burlesque chums, Naomi and Ali with their freshly stitched ice cream hair accessories
And here's the gang, including Becky on the far right, who came all the way from London!
Soooooo, fancy coming next month (September) to make your very own leather Jammy Dodger and Battenburg brooch?
You can book online here, but don't hang about as right now we only have one space left for the 6th September and 6 spaces left on the 20th.
Hope to see you then!
