Valentine's Pop Ups!

Well hello there! It's been a while, but I'm back on the blog, and I'm going to try my bestest to keep it updated this year!

I don't know about you, but we are super cold and bored of nothing interesting happening around here, so thought 'let's put on some fun pop up events to keep us all entertained'.

First up, since I opened the shop, over 2 years ago I have been talking about holding workshops to teach you lovely lot the tricks of the trade, and finally we have a date in the diary!

On Sunday the 10th February, you can join us at our Bournemouth shop/studio and make your very own personalised heart brooch, as seen on Amy Winehouse, with me, the creator of Love From Hetty & Dave...

You will learn how to make your own leather (or vinyl, for vegans) heart brooch as well as stitching techniques that can be used to create your own range of textile jewellery.

We are gonna make a day of it and start at 10.30am, finishing at 4.30pm

Suitable for beginners, £40 per person, 8 places available.

This includes all materials, light lunch and refreshments.

You will need to bring some ideas of what text you would like to put on your heart. This is the perfect opportunity to create a personalised Valentine's Day gift!

The Love From Hetty & Dave shop/studio where the workshop will be held, is only a 2 minute walk from Pokesdown train station, which is on the London train line. So if you don't live in the Bournemouth area, there's no excuse!

Does this tickle your fancy?  Well, with only 8 spaces available, you can book right here!

Next up, on Saturday the 16th February we will be hosting Hetty & Dave's Ruby Wedding anniversary dinner in the shop, with 'Travel with My Aunt- World Cafe' catering the 1960s feast!

Bored of the usual slushy, mushy Valentine dinners, we thought we'd invite 12 people into the shop to dine like it's 1966 with a 'real life' Hetty & Dave...

It's your opportunity to meet the namesakes behind Love From Hetty & Dave, dress in your best 1960s clobber, and eat the posh nosh of the era.

It's bring your own bottle, and we'll be fondue-ing like we've never fondue-d before, in between a starter of prawn cocktail or a veggie soup, and a trifle/black forest gateaux dessert.

We have some little vintage treats up our sleeves for this pop-up restaurant delight, and we are SUPER excited about it!

You can come and buy your tickets from the shop, or contact me via zoelarkins@gmail.com. All tickets must be purchased in advance.

No excuses for a dull February now is there?!

Valentines lovings

xx
